Credit Transfer

Systems for the transfer and accumulation of credits have been identified as one of the major instruments to enable the recognition of qualification and to support the mobility and lifelong learning efforts of individuals. Credit transfer systems (CTS) have been introduced related to reforms of the Bologna Process and are to award points whenever defined learning outcomes have been achieved and to help transfer (intermediate) qualification achievements to other – including international – institutions of education and training.
