The Qualification Process

Face-to-face meetings to evaluate the work and learning experiences corresponding to milestones in the project are agreed in order to ensure meaningful reflection. At least six meetings with the facilitator are part of the training process.

The duration of the advanced training is not standardized and depends on the experience and competence of the individual, and the work routine in the project. It usually lasts between 6 – 24 months.

The participant will work out the processes of the qualification project herself, will obtain the necessary background information and develop required knowledge and skills, will contact experts, and will document her work. Working and learning are interwoven.

The technical and procedural steps of the project, the communication processes and challenging situations, e. g. decisions, conflicting aims, and difficult customer conversations etc. are described in the documentation. For every step of the reference process, certain information has to be provided: Laid out by the quality assuring agencies, the form of the documentation is fixed and must satisfy certain formal requirements.
