Learning Dealing autonomously, pro-actively, and creatively with open, complex and unforeseeable situations is a pivotal competence at the modern workplace. One key concept of learning within AITTS could be summed up as: ”Using the work environment to realize and embrace learning opportunities.” Learning within AITTS happens “on demand”: It is based on and guided by experience and integrated in or oriented towards the work process. Here, as much space as possible is given to self-directed learning as it effectively addresses the individuality of the learner and of the details of the learning situation! Change in individual behaviour and attitudes is basically the result of informal learning. Consequently, importance is placed upon this kind of learning. Informal learning is linked to practical activities, results from experience, happens unintentionally and requires reflection. |
