AITTS In Brief
Stakeholders and Target Group The main Stakeholders are the partners that brought AITTS to life. The German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce is involved with the implementation of those exams based on public law (“Professional Examinations”). All these parties regularly decide upon amendments based on technical revisions and feedback from the industry of the profiles and their content. Additional stakeholders are the German Accreditation Authority and certification bodies such as cert:it. The target group for AITTS consists – besides IT practitioners (employed and free lance) interested in qualification – of HR Professionals, as well as training and education providers. |
Certification of IT Specialists Though AITTS addresses qualification at the workplace, efforts have been made to help unemployed benefit from the concept. To become a “Specialist”, one can be a participant of courses given by accredited training providers, as long as the course is substantially practice and project related. This specialty is covered by the “Normative Document” regulating the certification process. |
