Career profiles are introduced for different reasons: in order to create transparency about work activities and required competences, to define standards for qualification and to enable quality assurance of them. In cooperation with more than 60 representatives from the ICT industry and training providers, extensive career profiles have been worked out by analysing job announcements, job descriptions, and curricula.
