Career Profiles: Concept

Methodology

Consistent profiles need a sound profile model at their core. They were developed in a bottom-up top-down process:

Analysis and evaluation of current approaches and best practices from HR and training resulted in structural items for a profile model. Consecutively, information was specified for clusters of work activities according to this model – leading to the actual career profile. Clustering can be based on various criteria:

With AITTS, it was guided by keeping reference to underlying business processes and orienting towards action competence.

AITTS

AITTS career profiles are competence-based job role profiles. The profiles cover holistic and coherent “windows” of IT business processes.
